Great coffee selection, the staff is great, Chris is really knowledgeable, passionate and incredibly friendly. Espresso is fantastic and the pour over options have a great range of flavor. If you are visiting or just in PB this is a must check-out coffee place. A bit small so not for working but they have another location where you can do that.

I walk dogs. I ride bikes. I drink coffee. I collect coffee mugs. Found this awesome mug. Found Coffee Cycle. I am regularly on the hunt for a tasteful dark roast coffee. My favorite dark roast is a local blend. Dark Roast Honduras from C2 is in competition. Their pricing, delivery, and packaging are all exemplary.

A really friendly and welcoming crew at this small, cycling-themed coffee shop on Grand Ave. in Pacific Beach. It’s directly across the street from the Starbucks and Wendy’s. They have three outdoor tables along the street. The coffee is great. Really well-curated, balanced, and vibrant flavors. The creative espresso drinks are great as well — I recommend the Lavender Bliss or the Honey Cinnamon.

Yesterday, I stopped by Coffee Cycle (the new OB location 4856 Voltaire between Cable and Sunset Cliffs Blvd) for the first time, and it was an experience that completely exceeded my expectations. My opinion, many coffee shops can feel a bit unwelcoming on a first visit, with a “too cool for school” vibe, but Coffee Cycle was refreshingly the opposite. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. It also helped that the shop was playing Wu-Tang, and Jordan, the friendly barista behind the counter, greeted me right away with a smile and exceptional service. I was in the mood to try a late breakfast (at 1:30 PM ), and Jordan recommended “OB’s Best Breakfast Sandwich,” a new creation by Chris, the owner. This sandwich was next-level deliciousness and made with thick, local sourdough bread, smoked pork belly, chipotle sauce, pepper jack cheese, and a perfectly cooked egg. Every bite was a blend of bold, rich flavors and left me completely satisfied. This sandwich is super legit!! Highly recommend. It left me already looking forward to my next return visit. Then for mental energy, I paired the sandwich with a honey cinnamon iced latte. This drink was made with cinnamon, local raw honey, housemade cashew, macadamia milk, and espresso. It was smooth, lightly sweet, and energizing. It complemented the sandwich well. The extra welcoming vibe came from Jordan, who after I put in my order then took the time to share the history of Coffee Cycle, how it got started and explained how they source all their beans from around the world, and roast them right there in the shop. Her passion for the craft was contagious actually making me want to learn more about the process behind the coffee, which made the experience feel personal and unique. Now I can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu and also hangout to do a little work in their large open space. If you haven’t stopped by yet, I highly recommend checking out this spot as it’s the perfect fit for OB.

Excellent coffee! So much character... and outstanding service! I chatted with some of the staff members - who cannot help but feel like home with these guys! Highly recommended! I had the Peruvian beans and bought decaf coffee for my home. Brilliant! Ranks among the best coffee I had in San Diego!

When it comes to the quality of coffee, you're not gonna find to many better places around SD. Amazing customer service. I love talking to people about the intricacies of roasting and brewing coffee and these guys know their stuff. Lalo (I hope I remembered his name correctly) was great and I enjoyed his personal recommendation.

I ordered: Iced "surprise me" which turned out to be the pumpkin spice! Was soooo good. Lots of places will over sweeten the pumpkin or add too many spices, this was just the right amount of sweet and spice with pumpkin blend. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! Bacon Burrito! Made fresh to order and you can tell it's made with love. Chris helped me pick out my drinks and food and the conversation and atmosphere of this coffee shop is a must see. I drive past it everyday always saying I NEED TO STOP and I'm so glad I did! I will definitely be back to try all of the special drinks and concoctions they have on the menu. The coffee cart, art and conversation here can't be found anywhere else. Very authentic and worth the money/time spent here. Thank you Chris and fellow coffee goers for helping me start my morning out right! See you again soon
